Brighton is located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon (SR-190), 35 miles southeast of Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).

SLC (Salt Lake City International): 45 mins drive. Easy interstate highway access to Big Cottonwood Canyon mouth.

Big Cottonwood Canyon (SR-190) requires 4WD/AWD or approved snow chains when the Utah Traction Law is declared during winter weather.

UTA Ski Bus Route 972 picks up at valley park-and-ride stations and drops riders directly at the Brighton base loop.
