How to Get to Big Sky Resort: Airports, Drives & Mountain Transit

Big Sky is located in Southwest Montana, an hour south of Bozeman.

BZN (Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport): 1 hr drive. Montana’s busiest airport with direct non-stop flights from over 20 major US hubs.

US Highway 191 winds through the dramatic Gallatin River Canyon. Watch for wildlife (bighorn sheep and elk) and icy road sections.

The Skyline Bus provides scheduled daily bus service between Bozeman, Big Sky Town Center, and the Mountain Village.
