This Cascade Powder Magnet Caps Season Passes Tomorrow Morning

Mt. Baker opens its Any Day season-pass window Saturday at 7 a.m. PT with a hard sales cap. Last year the allotment sold out within hours of opening.

Ski news: This Cascade Powder Magnet Caps Season Passes Tomorrow Morning

Mt. Baker Ski Area opens its Any Day season-pass window to everyone on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Sales start at 7:00 a.m. Pacific. An online waiting room opens at 6:00 a.m., and the mountain will sell only until it hits a capped allotment roughly matching last year's total.

That cap is the story. Baker is not running an open-ended mega-pass fire sale. Last season the open-window allotment sold out within hours. Anyone who misses the queue, or sits too far back in it, can leave empty-handed even after logging in on time.

How the Saturday queue works

Do not hit the store before 6 a.m. Early browsers are not placed in the waiting room. Between 6 and 7 a.m., waiting-room shoppers get a random queue slot when sales open. After 7 a.m., late arrivals go to the end of the line in chronological order. Once you enter the store, you have 15 minutes to finish the purchase.

Open-window pricing (tax not included) lists Adult (22-59) at $1,287.90, Younger Adult (18-21) at $1,025.35, Junior (16-17) at $767.82, Youth (13-15) at $469.94, Child (7-12) at $356.05, Kid ID (6 and under) at $25, Senior (60-69) at $761.91, and Super Senior (70+) at $234.95. Ages are judged as of Dec. 31, 2026 for purchases before Jan. 1, 2027.

Why Baker buyers rush

General manager Mike Trowbridge has pointed to prior Super El Niño seasons as a reason crews expect a very snowy winter, with the potential for hundreds of inches if analogues hold. That forecast does not change the sales clock, but it does sharpen demand for a capped independent pass that is not on Epic or Ikon.

Passholder perks this year include All Passholder Day status, passholder events, a Baker Exchange with Mt. Hood Meadows, ski and board check (new), and annual custom swag. Returning Priority Window buyers already had a shot Sept. 9-30. Saturday is the public window for everyone else.

Separately, WSDOT plans Mount Baker Highway closures Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6, between Silver Fir Campground and Heather Meadows from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for road prep. That work is logistics for the season, not a change to pass sales.

If you want Baker days this winter, treat Saturday morning like a hard deadline. Confirm account, photo, and payment details tonight. Official details: Mt. Baker Any Day open purchase window.
