Ikon Pass Just Added Four North American Mountains Most Skiers Missed
SilverStar, Snowriver, Lutsen, and Granite Peak join the Ikon Pass for 2026-27. Current pricing holds only through Oct. 8.
Alterra Mountain Company confirmed on Sept. 24 that four North American destinations are joining the Ikon Pass for winter 2026-27: SilverStar Mountain in British Columbia, Snowriver Mountain Resort in Michigan, Lutsen Mountains in Minnesota, and Granite Peak in Wisconsin. The announcement lands two weeks before the next scheduled price increase on Oct. 8.
Those four hills fill a real gap on the map. SilverStar gives Ikon holders another Okanagan option beside Sun Peaks and Revelstoke. The three Midwest additions deepen the Boyne-linked corridor that already includes Boyne Mountain and The Highlands in Michigan. Destination planners who once treated the Upper Midwest as an Indy Pass side quest now get multi-day Ikon access without flying over the Rockies.
What else changed on the pass
Ikon also listed five new bonus mountains: Devil's Head in Wisconsin, Tamarack in Idaho, Giants Ridge in Minnesota, Caberfae Peaks in Michigan, and Snowy Range in Wyoming. Bonus access is typically thinner than full destination access, so trip builders should read the fine print before banking a holiday week on those hills.
Ikon Base Pass holders get a quieter win that may matter more than the splashy logos. Base now includes unlimited access to Arapahoe Basin and five days at Snowmass. That gives Front Range locals a high-alpine escape on the cheaper tier, and it softens the Base vs. full Ikon decision for Colorado-heavy calendars.

Pass shopping this fall is no longer only a Colorado and Utah spreadsheet. A Minnesota family that already owns Lutsen lodging can now pair those days with SilverStar or a Wasatch flagship on one plastic card.
