Ski news: Park City’s Snow League Tickets Are Out, With a Reason to Book Early

Park City Mountain opened another piece of its January trip-planning calendar on October 15, when The Snow League released tickets for its January 21-23, 2027, debut at the Utah resort. The reason to decide early is the ticket deadline: the league says prices across all tiers will rise December 1.

According to the official ticket announcement, general admission starts at $10 for Thursday’s qualifiers and Friday’s quarterfinals, and $25 for Saturday’s finals. Children under 12 can attend free. The Saturday program will settle men’s and women’s snowboard and freeski contests through head-to-head bracket competition.

The event will introduce the resort’s upgraded 22-foot halfpipe. Park City’s own winter guide says that after The Snow League, the pipe will remain available as a terrain park feature and training venue. That gives the project relevance beyond the three competition days for visitors interested in the mountain’s freestyle facilities.

Pick the competition day before the hotel

For a ski group building a weekend around the event, the first decision is whether the priority is watching earlier rounds or being there for the finals. The advertised starting prices differ by day, so a ticket comparison should begin with the competition schedule rather than a single headline price.

A spectator plan also needs its own place in the trip budget. Before purchasing, check the selected ticket’s access terms and decide separately how many days the group wants to ski. Time watching the halfpipe is time to allow in the itinerary, especially for anyone trying to combine a full mountain day with the event.

The league says free public entertainment and fan programming are planned, with details to follow. Premium Snow Deck admission starts at $150 and includes a dedicated viewing platform, food and beverage, a climate-controlled tent and grandstand access. Prices vary with the day and purchase timing.

A winter visit with two priorities

Competition fans and recreational skiers may want different rhythms from the same trip. Agreeing in advance on a viewing day and a mountain day can make shared lodging easier to organize without asking everyone to follow the same schedule.

Our Park City resort guide is a starting point for the skiing side of that visit. Check the league’s final program before fixing arrival times, particularly if the Saturday finals are the main reason for traveling.
