Lake Louise Releases Its Plus+Card, but the Free Days Follow a Sequence

Lake Louise’s C$160 Plus+Card gives free skiing on visits one, four and seven across three resorts, rewarding travelers who plan their paid days carefully.

Ski news: Lake Louise Releases Its Plus+Card, but the Free Days Follow a Sequence

Lake Louise put its 2026-27 Plus+Card on sale October 17 at C$160 through December 25, with free skiing on the first, fourth and seventh cumulative visits. Those visits can be spread across Lake Louise, Castle Mountain and Panorama, so the order of your ski days is central to understanding the offer.

The card gives 20 percent off full-price, full-day tickets on paid visits. It also includes one bonus free day at either Canyon or Snow Valley. Up to two accompanying children aged 6 to 12 can receive 20 percent off their full-price, full-day tickets.

Count visits before counting savings

For a three-day trip, the advertised sequence means the first visit is free and the next two are paid at the applicable discount. Reaching the fourth visit unlocks the next free day. That makes the product worth comparing against your actual itinerary, especially if you are dividing a winter between several mountains.

It also means the headline price should not be divided by three and treated as the cost of three consecutive ski days. Work through the visits you expect to make, then compare the paid-day totals with other tickets available for those dates. The result depends on your plans, rather than the card price alone. Write out each visit before deciding which option to buy.

The format changes the morning routine

The digital version arrives by email and activates automatically. A Direct-To-Lift version links to a credit card and bills paid Lake Louise visits automatically. The classic physical card is still listed as coming soon, so gift buyers should check availability before planning around that format.

Direct-To-Lift access applies at Lake Louise. At Castle or Panorama, cardholders still present the card at Guest Services for free or discounted tickets. The terms make the card personal and non-transferable, for ages 13 and older, with one use per day. Families should calculate each person's visits separately.

Lake Louise's official Plus+Card page sets out redemption details and conditions. Start with our Lake Louise, Castle Mountain and Panorama guides to decide which stops belong in your winter, then choose the ticket product that fits those days.
