What the new Bonus Mountains include
Caberfae Peaks sits in Northern Michigan near Manistee National Forest character: approachable vertical, a long local history, and an easy overnight from much of the Midwest. Access is window check-in rather than direct-to-lift, so budget a few extra minutes on arrival.
Snowy Range in Wyoming's Medicine Bow National Forest lists about 30 trails and roughly 990 feet of vertical. It is positioned as a laid-back all-abilities hill with direct-to-lift Bonus access. Think powder-day side trip or a low-stress add-on near a longer Rockies itinerary, not a week-long destination substitute for Jackson Hole.
