Holiday Valley’s November Lodge Party Comes With an Earlier Start for Some
Holiday Valley’s November 7 Beer & Wine Festival brings more than 50 vendors to the Main Lodge, with VIP entry an hour before the main afternoon session.
Holiday Valley will host its 22nd Beer & Wine Festival on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Main Lodge in Ellicottville, New York. The main session runs from 3 to 7 p.m., but VIP ticket holders get through the doors at 2 p.m., an hour earlier.
The resort’s official event listing promises drinks from more than 50 vendors, spanning beer, wine, spirits, cider and seltzers. It also lists a dedicated VIP area on the top floor of the Main Chalet, a lanyard and a souvenir gift among the upgraded ticket’s extras.
Music is spread through the building: Nerds Gone Wild on the top floor, Darkwater Duo on the main floor, and Second Hand News in the ground-floor wine cellar area. That gives the afternoon several different places to settle in, rather than concentrating the entire program around one stage.
A resort weekend before the ski season
For skiers who know Holiday Valley primarily from winter visits, this is a chance to return to the base lodge for a different kind of gathering. The appeal is the mountain community and the village weekend, with the tasting itself supplying a fixed afternoon around which to plan.
Friday, November 6, brings Crawl Outta Fall. The resort describes that event as starting at the Tamarack Club and continuing into the village. Local reporting in The Villager says guests can collect a passport at Edna’s and use an evening shuttle between participating establishments.
The resort is also advertising weekend and Saturday-night lodging packages. Compare the actual package inclusions with buying admission and a room separately before choosing; an event name on a lodging offer does not answer every question about the number of guests or tickets included.
Build the visit around the right arrival time
The early-entry distinction matters when coordinating friends arriving from different places. A group mixing general and VIP admission should agree on a meeting point and time before heading to the lodge. Anyone planning to sample drinks should arrange a sober ride or an overnight stay as part of the booking.
There is no need to turn the afternoon into a packed itinerary. Leave room for the village and check the current ticket terms before departure. For the mountain context behind this preseason gathering, our Holiday Valley resort guide provides a place to begin planning a later ski visit.
